Our beef, pork and elk comes from Two Rivers Meats in Pemberton, BC. Two Rivers believes that "people should know where their food is coming from." We couldn't agree more, and are proud to use their fine meats that are raised with ethical and natural farming techniques.
Our tuna comes from Natural Gift Seafoods. The fish is caught on The Nerka based out of nearby Parksville, BC and is MSC certified. Natural Gift's seafoods have been recognized by pretty much every seafood sustainability program, including Vancouver Aquarium's Ocean Wise and Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch.
Our ling cod comes from Soren Hansen who lives in our nearest commercial hub, Port Alberni. He fishes out of Tofino with a hook and line and is MSC certified.
Our salmon, shrimp, and prawns are caught on our own boat, the BC Valour, based right here in Tofino. We fish with the latest environmentally friendly fishing methods.
Our chicken is raised by the Young family at Island Farmhouse Poultry, which is based in nearby Duncan, BC. They are award winning fourth generation farmers, widely recognized as the Island’s top producers of speciality chicken.
